A friend from The Netherlands wites that he's found a way around the idiotic restriction that iTunes has that prevents him from buying certain content that is locked only to customers with US-based credit cards.
The workaround appears to be to either have someone in the US send you an electronic iTunes credit (purchased with a US credit card) or to purchase iTunes Gift Cards in the US and use those codes.
Costco sells iTunes gift cards at a slight discount, almost enough to make up for the currency exchange fees PayPal charges.
Apparently it works.
DRM sucks.
How long before it's dead?
